Jimmy (1 of 1)

Hi, I’m Jimmy and I am a documentary photographer and filmmaker from Gloucestershire who specialises in wildlife and pretty much anything rural. I am passionate about education and research so the main aim of my photographic work is to inform and educate.
Whilst the main aim of my work is to be factual, It is important to create work that is visually interesting and emotionally compelling. To do this I  incorporate fine art and abstract styling to my images and videos which helps to grab the attention of the viewer and adds an additional emotive layer.

I have recently completed my year long documentary project, Bempton (A multiscreen short film featuring the Northern Gannet) which was awarded “Best in Show” at the AOP Student Awards 2023. I am now working on a brand new project with assistance from Fujifilm, which I will be announcing shortly.

Alongside my upcoming photography project, I will be running wildlife photography workshops as well as offering one-to-one tuition around Gloucestershire.
